Looking for a fresh idea? Tired of paying high
prices at the store?
Welcome to the Lay Berry Farm!
You U Pick your own
blueberries and blackberries. Located an hour east of Dallas, Texas
and one hour west of Tyler, Texas. Conveniently centered between Interstate 20
(in Canton) from the North and Highway 175 (in Mabank) from the south.
At the Lay Berry Farm, our goal is to provide you with the freshest blackberries
blueberries, vegetables and produce.
We offer thornless blackberries, blueberries, squash, watermelons, cantaloupe,
onions, beans, peas and tomatoes. What you buy in the grocery store is picked before it's ripe which may increase
the time they have to ship it, but at a great reduction in quality and flavor.
Our products go straight from the fields to you! No delay, no shipping time,
just good produce. Everything is free of preservatives, waxes and additives that
can destroy flavor and
quality. We strive to keep our farming methods as natural as possible.

Update 6/28/2009
A few changes have been made around
here, we've changed the Gallery format to make it a little more organized.
If you have problems viewing it, please let us know. 4th of July weekend
is coming up and we're hoping to have an excellent turn out. We will have
plenty of cold watermelons ready for your cook-out! Its been a little warm
at the farm, and we highly recommend dressing appropriately. We have lots
of cold drinks available to help keep you cool. We are picking massive
amounts of squash and zucchini so there is more than enough available.
The peas and watermelons will be ready in a few weeks.
6/15/2009
We will be adding more blackberry and
blueberry plants this winter. Watermelons and cantaloupes are growing
fast, and will be ready around the first part of July. There are a few
acres of tomato plants that are growing fast and should be ready soon.
The squash, zucchini, okra, cucumbers, and peppers are all growing
strong as well.
